Your email, phone, or name is converted into a SHA-256 cryptographic hash before anything leaves your device. This hash cannot be reversed. VaprClear LLC cannot determine what you entered.

By completing payment and executing the in-app authorization form, you expressly authorize VaprClear LLC to act as your designated authorized agent to submit data deletion and opt-out requests on your behalf under the California Consumer Privacy Act (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.105), the Virginia CDPA, the Colorado CPA, and other applicable state privacy laws.
VaprClear LLC will submit removal requests in your name to data brokers, people-search sites, and other organizations identified in your scan results. These requests cite your legal rights and demand deletion of all personal information, opt-out from data sale, and written confirmation of removal within 45 days.
This authorization does not constitute a legal retainer or attorney-client relationship. VaprClear LLC is not a law firm.
Data brokers compile personal information continuously from public records including court filings, property records, voter registrations, business records, and third-party data sources. This re-aggregation process is automated and ongoing. Even after VaprClear successfully submits removal requests and a broker confirms deletion, your personal information may reappear in broker databases as new public records are ingested.
Re-appearance of previously removed data is an industry-wide structural issue and not a failure of VaprClear's service. Our 90-day guarantee is designed specifically to cover one re-aggregation cycle. For ongoing protection, periodic re-scanning is recommended.
Data appearing in criminal breach dumps — stolen datasets distributed illegally — cannot be deleted from their original source. VaprClear addresses downstream impact by clearing broker profiles built using stolen data. We cannot remove data from illegal distributions, paste sites, or dark web forums.
If any source VaprClear LLC cleared still shows your data within 90 days of your clean-slate certificate, email [email protected] with your certificate date. We will re-attempt removal at no charge, unconditionally. Re-clear claims require a screenshot of your original certificate showing your unique Claim ID. Claims without a valid certificate screenshot will not be processed.
VaprClear is built on a strict zero-persist architecture. Your email address entered for scanning is never stored — it is processed in real time and discarded. Scan results exist only in your browser session and are permanently wiped when you close.
Your name, email address, city, and ZIP code entered on the authorization form are used solely within your browser to generate removal letters. They are never transmitted to VaprClear servers, never stored in any database, and never shared with Google or any third party. They exist only in your browser's memory for the duration of your session.
The only data VaprClear logs is your unique Claim ID, your state of residence, applicable law, and removal request counts — operational data with no personal identifiers. This minimum dataset allows us to track removal work and verify re-clear claims. Your Claim ID is generated locally in your browser and held exclusively by you on your certificate.
